Acupuncture is a gentle and effective Eastern medical treatment based on body energy called Qi. In a healthy person, Qi flows freely through the body; when a person experiences constitutional weakness, pathogenic invasion, fatigue, environmental stress, emotional upset, irregular diet or an accident, Qi gets blocked or depleted. The acupuncturist helps normalize the body’s function, reduces symptoms, and optimizes the flow of Qi by inserting hair-thin needles at specific points along meridians in the body. Cupping and moxibustion are therapeutic techniques that can aid the flow of energy.
In order to increase transparency and visibility in our practice, we are posting our fee for service which is $75 per unit. This unit is based on acupuncture codes calculated based on the average charge in the industry. They may show a different total of what insurance pays, what patients pay out of pocket and what the true cost of your actual care is. These fees are all set by different players in the health care industry, including the insurance companies involved. We will charge all insurance companies the same exact fee regardless of what they end up paying us. If you do not have insurance please contact our office. We are happy to offer accommodations made on an individual basis.
Full service charge for last-minute cancellations and missed appointments.
Rates shown offered when payment received at the time of service.
