Julie Feinland became an acupuncturist after experiencing its benefits and loves sharing this form of medicine with others. She is certified to practice acupuncture from the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine. Julie is a licensed acupuncturist, craniosacral therapist, and nurse-midwife. She earned a Masters in Acupuncture at the Institute for Taoist Education and Acupuncture. Julie has presented on Acupuncture for Women’s Health at Baystate Medical Center Grand Rounds and to the Women’s Health providers at Cooley Dickinson. She has also done presentations on Acupuncture for Primary Care at Valley Medical Group in Florence and Easthampton.
Julie’s study of craniosacral therapy began in 2017 at the Upledger Institute and is continuing. Julie graduated from the Columbia University School of Nursing’s midwifery program in 1997 and has been providing midwifery care in the Valley for over 20 years. Further, Julie has been faculty at Tufts University Medical School, Baystate Medical Center’s OBGYN Residency Program, and Baystate’s Midwifery Education Program. She has extensive experience as a researcher in women’s health.
